The Mexican Caribbean, A Scuba Diving Paradise

Scuba diving in the dazzling underwater landscapes of the Mexican Caribbean is an extraordinary experience. In addition to colorful coral reefs, diving is offered in cenotes, caverns and underground rivers.

The many places to dive in and around Cancun has made the Mexican Caribbean a favorite destination of diving enthusiasts from around the world.

In Cancun there are many places to practice this sport, like the Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA), Los Jardines, Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc, among others.

Other highly recommended destinations for diving in Quintana Roo are the Puerto Morelos National Park reef, Kin Ha, Popol Vuh and Siete Bocas cenotes, which are also located in Puerto Morelos. Playa del Carmen offers Punta Maroma, Chac Mool cenote and the Tajma Ha flooded cave system.
